The Thogarihunkal Estate Group has been actively involved with the business of growing coffee since 1857. The estate lies at an altitude of 3500 – 4500 feet above sea level and provides an ideal environment to grow the finest Arabica beans. Malle Gowda, an enterprising young planter started producing more coffee with the help of the British and he was followed by his son T.B.
