We take pride in supporting other coffee roasters in India and extending the benefits of our vast sourcing network to them.
Our extensive experience in international trade through our sister-firm Indcaffe has helped us build a vast network of coffee growers, coffee curers/processors, global trading houses and organic & certified coffee dealers. We hold special long-term relationships with our partners and whether they are small growers or large trading houses, they help us understand the entire value chain and ethically source top quality coffees.
From the best of India’s Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold and Single Estate coffees to world renowned beans like Kenya AA Top Masai and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, we have a large portfolio of coffees which are not limited to our roasting needs alone. We are conscious of the growing demands of the Indian market and we make all our coffees available to roasters who are interested in sourcing green beans from us. Transparency is one of our key values and we share all information with our roasting partners on how to get the best out of the beans we supply.
Benefits We Offer
1. How do I find a reliable supplier for unroasted coffee beans?
You must find a transparent supplier whose products and services match the needs of your business. Coffee is a volatile commodity and working with a supplier who is transparent about pricing and supply is key to your long-term success. At Naivo, we bring a vast array of Indian and International origin coffees to our customers – a one-stop shop for all your raw coffee procurement. With access to global markets and multiple Indian farms, curing works and trading houses, we bring you not only the best quality but also price transparency.
2. What technical assistance does Naivo offer to roasters?
To accomplish demand year-round, Naivo can create customised supply plans for all your requirements and organise dispatches to ensure your coffees arrive within your preferred time window. We also assist specialty coffee roasters with roasting tips to bring the best out of our coffees.
3. Does Naivo supply commercial or specialty coffees?
Naivo supplies both commercial grade and specialty grade coffees. We supply washed, naturals, honeys and a wide range of experimentally processed coffees.
4. Does Naivo supply traceable coffees?
We supply traceable coffees with comprehensive information about the estate, post-harvest processing, producer, region, and history of the farm.
5. Does Naivo supply certified coffees like Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance?
Yes, we supply Fairtrade and RFA coffees locally as well as for export.
6. What is the minimum order quantity for unroasted coffee beans?
Our minimum order quantity is as low as 5kg for home roasters and 1 bag (30kg) for commercial buyers. However, we make exceptions for commercial buyers depending on our mutual understanding of their long-term requirements.
7. Does Naivo export unroasted coffee beans?
Yes, with support from our sister-concern Indcaffe – a brokerage enterprise operating for almost three decades in the global coffee markets – we export Indian origin coffees to roasters and trading houses to several consumer markets.
8. Does Naivo sell imported coffee beans to Indian roasters?
We import coffee from several origins including Colombia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Kenya and so on. Considering the small but growing demand for these coffees in India, only a small portion of our imports is roasted by us while most of it is made available to roasters across the country. Our goal is to increase awareness of coffees from multiple origins among Indian consumers and our partnership with other roasters for supply of these coffees directly supports this vision.
